Leverage Social Media from the Top
That gentleman or lady who occupies the corner office on the executive floor likely has little time to watch TikTok videos or check out the latest yoga pants being hawked through Instagram.
But even though they are terribly important and extremely busy, these execs need to have a presence on social media. And why? To show your company is run by normal human beings and people you may even want to have a beer with.
The CEO is, in essence, the public face of your company. He/she is considered the personality, the vibe and the straw in the corporate drink. So give them a robust and authentic social media presence to show your brand is relatable and accessible.
We love LinkedIn, so here is our suggestion. Make your CEO an "influencer" on LinkedIn. Create some personal posts, celebrate your corporate team and share some cool ideas. Show the world your C-suite is more than starched shirts, Google calendars and tee times. These people rose to the top, right? So, at some point, they needed to have a personality. So, find it and show it!
