You spend plenty of time sweating over the perfect sentence, eager to grab the reader with your spectacular prose. And, although it may end up being a damn good sentence, you still fall flat when you post on LinkedIn. And why?
Because you ignored your target audience. The people reading your post may have zero clue who you are speaking about, or why you are sharing it. For your next brilliant sentence, really think about who is going to be the reader. A Baby Boomer doesn't care about the latest teen to intentionally slip and fall on a Tik Tok video, and Gen Z won't get your reference to a 1955 Studebaker Commander, (which may be one of the coolest coupes of all time, but we digress...) Remember the enormous value of knowing your audience and creating messages that truly resonate.
