Master Class #102: Engage Your Audience With a Newsletter

A newsletter is one of the best ways to connect with your town, company or organization. When starting a newsletter, there are a few things to consider.

First, make sure to stick to a regular schedule. If your subscribers know your newsletter is coming in on a particular day and a particular time, they'll be more likely to give it a read.

Second, when choosing stories for your newsletter, try to highlight people, not things. Putting people at the center of your stories makes the content more engaging and makes readers feel more connected to the town, company or organization the newsletter is written on behalf of.

Finally, don't be shy about using pictures. Pictures are a fantastic way to enhance newsletter stories and make the content as a whole more engaging and easily digestible.

At Jaffe Communications, we help write, find images and assemble newsletters across every sector, so if you're looking to build one of your own, give us a call today.
