Master Class #97: Your Story, Your Voice

One of the most common questions we are asked at Jaffe Communications is "how do I establish myself as a unique voice in my space?"

The first step is to think about what experiences set you apart from everyone else. Your life and your career journey are yours alone. Leverage them to separate yourself from others in your industry.

Next, think about your communication style. When speaking with someone, do you usually tell stories? Cite statistics? Make logical appeals? Do you have a dramatic flair? Or are you straight to the point? Consider all these questions when crafting your public voice.

Lastly, it is crucial to think about the nuances in your language. Figure out what words and phrases you naturally use and double down on them to craft a style that is uniquely yours.

At Jaffe Communications, we've helped hundreds of professionals hone their voice so they can become leaders in their space. If you want help finding yours, reach out today!
