2025 is here, and the flipping of the calendar is the perfect time to focus on your PR plan for the new year
Consider:
1. What stories resonated with your audience over the past year?
Ask yourself: Were there any press pitches from your organization that received serious traction? If so, what type of stories were they? Double down on what worked in 2025.
2. Do you want to be more present in the public eye?
There's a sweet spot when it comes to public attention. Too little and you're likely not getting your message out, too much and you're just making noise to make noise. Find the perfect balance.
3. What is your long-term PR goal?
PR without a plan is just words. Think about the image you want to craft for your organization in 2025. "We want people to think we're good" isn't deep enough. Get specific.
Who are you helping? How are you making the world a better place? Answer these two questions and you'll be off to a great start.
