People love a hearty laugh. Just ask the cigar-chomping comedy club owner counting his bar receipts.

Humor also inspires—and gets people talking about you and your product/service.  How often does your PR campaign have people chatting about it for weeks, months, or even years? (You don't have to answer that.). Lighten up. Try humor. People may laugh with you, or at you. But they are remembering you!
