Chris TrucilloChristopher Trucillo is the Senior Vice President, Chief of Police & Office of Emergency Management for NJ TRANSIT. NJ TRANSIT is the third largest transportation agency in the nation. The NJ TRANSIT Police Department is also the only statewide transit police agency in the nation. Chief Trucillo is responsible for the overall direction and oversight of all police operations and coordinating emergency management activities within all departments and business lines within NJ TRANSIT. Since joining NJ TRANSIT, the Chief has led the emergency response and planning for NJ TRANSIT for Super Storm Sandy, Super Bowl XLVIII, Papal Visit of Pope Francis and currently the COVID-19 Pandemic. In September 2020, he was appointed by TSA Administrator Pekoske to serve as a voting member on the Surface Transportation Security Advisory Committee (STSAC). Chief Trucillo is also Chairman of the TSA Transit Policing and Security Peer Advisory Group. |
