Mark Finkelstein

Mark Finkelstein is the long-time superintendent of the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey, the largest specialized school district in New Jersey. His public school district – headquartered in Piscataway – serves students with some of the severest challenges from eight counties. There are 710 students enrolled in the schools, while the district provides special education for 5,000 others enrolled in 110 private and parochial schools and 20 charter schools. Mark has a critical focus on school safety and security and works closely with law enforcement.
