About Ellen

At Jaffe Communications, Ellen plays a key role in Association management, ensuring all client objectives are met as part of a well-organized operation.

Ellen’s roles include conference event planning, marketing/communications, oversight of creative materials and printed materials, membership management, and recordkeeping on behalf of the trade associations across the nation that Jaffe supports.

Ellen is focused on member service. With her expansive background, she assists in the coordination of special events and programs, handling all the behind-the-scenes needs to ensure seamless, professional operations.

After graduating with a degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Ellen fulfilled her life-long dream of living in California. She spent three years in the Los Angeles area working for a global mutual fund company before moving back to New York and switching industries to work in magazine publishing.

For the following eight years, she learned the various aspects of the consumer marketing world as a leader with several top-tier magazine publishers. During this time, she received a master’s degree in Publishing from New York University.

Ellen is also active on the boards of non-profit organizations in New Jersey, such as serving as a Trustee on the Board of the Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison.

In her spare time, Ellen enjoys reading, cooking and playing tennis as frequently as possible. She and her family love to travel. If she isn’t traveling, she is thinking about her next, well-organized, professionally-run travel opportunity.

Nice to meet you
